Weekly record

  1. Week 1

Annotated teardown of five mobile checkout flows across US and India sites.

Strong eye for sticky-total placement and guest-checkout friction.

  2. Week 2

Journey map of happy path + four payment edge cases with system response and emotion on every touchpoint.

Session-timeout branch was a thoughtful addition — most interns skip it.

  3. Week 3

Twelve mobile-first wireframes including three cart-state variants.

Clean grayscale discipline. Held off styling until week 5 as instructed.

  4. Week 4

tokens.json authored first with 14 entries; text-field and button main components built off the values.

Got the tokens-first discipline right on the first try. Error state pairs icon + colour for accessibility.

  5. Week 5

14 polished hi-fi screens; WCAG AA contrast audit on every text/background pair; intended Tab-order documented.

Every contrast ratio recorded. Darkened the brand cyan where needed without flinching.

  6. Week 6

Wired prototype + two think-aloud usability sessions with non-designers. Keyboard Tab walk completed.

Findings were specific and screen-attached. Three fixes lined up for week 7 cleanly.

  7. Week 7

Applied usability findings; written A/B test plan for guest-checkout visibility with control / variant / metrics / risks.

Risks section showed real product thinking — rare from someone new to A/B testing.

  8. Week 8

Shipped the case-study site to GitHub Pages. Full audit of repo tree confirmed.

Process section preserved every weekly README append. Reads like a finished portfolio piece.
